Gave up trying to please people a long time ago, simply cannot be done while remaining true to ones own principles plus I do not really care that much what others think of me personally, time is too short for such nonsense. I deal with the issues individually and based on their importance, unfortunately some want to make issues out of nothing, this thread is a good example. Kinda sad when one realizes there are much more pressing issues that could and should be addressed and we waste time on this "stuff".

Every time I hear our officials say something incredibly stupid showing their ignorance in areas that even school children are aware of I ask myself: how did they manage to get their posts? How is it possible for a stupid person to get that high?
It's ok not to know something, nobody is capable of knowing everything, but could you at least put some effort into checking the info before saying that stuff?

I remember when the press had a field day with Bush (sure he could butcher the English language), but he was also a college grad like Obama. Yet Obama gets away with murder compared to Bush because the media is liberal for the most part, and everyone is afraid of being labeled a racist.
Heck Obama supposedly taught Constitutional Law, yet it is clear he has little clue of what the Constitution means, and a POTUS's role within it. Even liberal law professors(real ones) are turning on him and saying he is out of control.
