Definitely controversial and I haven't seen a thread on the subject yet.

Russia, who has had tense relations with the US, projected a racist, degrading image of Obama on the U.S. Embassy on his birthday. The same day, a banner went up projecting Obama as the 3 monkeys from the tale, "Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil"

Relations between the U.S. and Russia still seem tense.

Was pretty shocked when I saw it. Did they not think about the message they're sending about their country?

To do it on the U.S. Embassy is even more disrespectful.

And they wonder why their country isn't respected?

Racist AND wrong, unfortunately Putin AND Russia doesn't respect Obama. Many Americans don't respect Obama also.

But this is uncalled for and makes Russians look worse than if they kept their disrespect at a classier level.

Are you surprised Russians are racist? They are supporting an ex-KGB dictator who censors their media and internet and don't seem to be protesting that?? They are angry at Obama, but don't seem upset that their fellow countrymen shot down a commercial plane full of innocent Europeans--doesn't that seem odd? They appear to have misplaced priorities, but they should be cut some slack as they their news media is totally state-controlled by Putin and they really do not get a complete picture of what is happening. Meanwhile, we get photos of Snowden enjoying the Bolshoi Ballet--while intelligent independent thinking Russians are fleeing the country. It's surreal.
