How would affirmative action have helped him??? He's white.
For those who question why teachers, including good ones, cling so zealously to tenure - this is an example of why. If you read the article he went from receiving stellar evaluations and being named "teacher of the year" to trash evaluations the minute the new principal came on board. He didn't suddenly turn from great teacher to horrendous teacher. This happens far too frequently, and often the only thing protecting the teacher is tenure.

Whoever is in charge of that principal needs to get rid of her ASAP because she will do nothing but cause more problems like this which will result in a trickle down effect to the students as well as more lawsuits which will leave the taxpayers on the hook to pay for.
How she ever even got to this position is beyond me.
