Increasing Islamic population :/ (middle east, generations, Michigan, Illinois)

After traveling throughout the northeast I noticed the increase of Islamic population and women wearing hijabs and burqas more than ever before. What's going on in America with the increase of Islamic immigration?
I'm worried to be honest... I hope we will not be Europe nr 2 soon :/

Here are the top 5 states with the greatest per capita Muslim populations:

Illinois
Virginia
NY
NJ
Texas

Dearborn Michigan has the greatest concentration of Arab Muslims in the US. Most are US citizens and have been here for generations.

Not all Arabs are Muslim and not all Muslims are Arabs.

On average, Europe is 10.4% Muslim.
The US is 1.4%

Could it be that many Muslims find what's happening in the various strict Islamic Middle Eastern countries just as horrifying as we do here, and want to come to a place that's safer?

Between Christian and Muslims, I much prefer the Muslims. It very easily could have been the Muslims I know, or the fact that they knew my position on religion, but I haven't had one try and convert me or tell me about their religion. Christians on the other hand... Well, let's just say I can't count how many times I tried to divert those conversations.

Hey they dont like it or us? Fine.. Move back to the middle east because we can all see how wonderful things are there, always has been and always will be.
