I notice you totally ignored the actions of The House completely, how very Partisan of you
Do you actually think the Repubs were going to work with the President, they stated the opposite as soon as he was first elected.
Would you have felt better had the Senate voted on the Partisan Bills sent by the House and rejected them and sent them back to the House, I would have preferred they did that but I doubt it would have changed you opinion in the slightest. Oh I would add how come the House did not pass Bills the Senate sent to them, did not even take a vote, simply said no, they have their own plan, then never present one, no problem with that for you? More tit for tat and then whining about the tat only
When it comes to "insults" I would remind you that it is a bad idea for those living in glasses houses to throw rocks.
Spoiled brat? LOL, I have been saying that about the Repubs since 2008 and their actions have not changed one bit. Just so ya know America is watching and the only people fooled by those that want to push the blame onto others while avoiding any responsibility themselves are those that are already the Party Faithful.

This post is NOT my only post on the subject.
And of ALL people you have a lot of nerve calling someone partisan.
"Do you actually think the Repubs were going to work with the President, they stated the opposite as soon as he was first elected." B.S.
It was at the very FIRST meeting with Congressional leader that Obama declared, 'We, won, get over it".
"Would you have felt better had the Senate voted on the Partisan Bills sent by the House and rejected them and sent them back to the House," That is EXACTLY what I have said many, many times on these threads.
Let the congress do as they are supposed to do.
Bills coming from the House are SUPPOSED to be given to the respective committees for discussion. The dems control EVERY one of these committees and the bills can be voted down every single time.
Why won't harry let them? What is he afraid of? There may some good parts of these bills that other dem Senators might like.
IMO, harry does NOT want any of his Senators on the record voting against things that the people might actually like.
"while avoiding any responsibility themselves are those that are already the Party Faithful." is a PERFECT example of yourself as you have demonstrated right here in your post.
I see post after post blaming Obama for things that are the responsibility of the House and Senate.
Its almost like folks do not understand how our government works. The president does have some very specific powers, but by far those aren't the things being complained about, but rather everyone seems intent on blaming Obama for things that the Senate and House are responsible for.
And looking back, this was true for Bush, Reagen, and Clinton. Its like they scapegoat presidents for their lack of competence.
You answered your own question; they don't know how our government works.

Passing lopsided bills to the senate you know full well won't pass doesn't count as doing something.
The Senate has done their job on bills at the same time. Modified them and sent them back to the House to be voted on. The House is sitting on them.

Exactly what I expected from you, thanks for not disappointing.
The OP is exactly right that the Congress makes the laws (and passes them). The President does have certain powers but the current occupant is abusing them to the extreme. But I think that the congress blames the President because that takes the heat off of them and as mentioned, most people don't know how the government works.
Actually, his has signed less executive orders than Clinton, Bush 1 and 2 and Reagan.

It's not the quantity that is important, but the content of the EO's. Mr. Obama could issue EO's daily on silly stuff like "Today is National Ice Cream Day" and no one would care much because such orders do no damage.

Don't confuse the libs with reality. It'll make their heads pop!

Sorry but no, several EO by prior presidents have also had some content that should have been challenged. And hopefully the challenges to Obamas will get this settled better for future presidents.
That being said....none of Obamas EO's do much damage either. The argument is "He made us stop hitting us, he doesnt have the power to do that!". And I think they're right. Others believe it falls within the EO power for interpeting laws and executing them.
One of the few discussions that occur on this board that IS actually about the presidents actual powers.
