I don't see that either, which is why I have posted (three times now) that Bush's succress in drawing the terrorists into battle with the US military in Iraq was an accidental strategy which now seems to be working out as the level of violence there declines...
Yes, it's a great success. The levels of violence have gone from being much worse than that back to being merely horrifying. I am reminded of the fire chief announcing on local TV that he and his men now have this house fire under control. Behind him stand nothing but smoldering ruins and a naked brick chimney straining toward the sky.

Iraq has a miraculous shift in attitude where they will embrace us instead of trying to blow us to bits, the economy has a miraculous recovery to Clinton era levels, the Social Security crisis is resolved, an illegal immigration solution everyone agrees with is implemented, Bin Laden is found, and Cheney resigns.
Otherwise I have no doubts that he will go down in history as one of the worst Presidents this country has ever seen.
While I see Jack Murtha being brought up can someone please tell me why this traitor has not been removed from his office?
He made up stories and lied to all of us, he slandered his own brothers in telling us all they murdered in cold blood.

We all will be shocked if he comes out smelling like a rose before he leaves Iraq, why do you think the loonies on the left want to cut off funding, they smell positive things coming, they surely dont care about the troops.
He file will not be completed until his last day in office which is a long way away. It will be based on how Iraq is the last day.
Watch the libs closely shift this around. If he comes out doing well in Iraq the libs media outlets will then turn to anything and everything under the sun to hide any accomplishment he may have.
Dont count him out yet, I am not a fan of his, however I am a conservative who believe he still may suprise us all.
No way will he become the worst President in out lifetime, there are two ahead of him that have him beat by miles.
1. Jimmy Carter 2. Bill Clinton
We have had the misfortunate displeasure of having two of the worst Presidents in 100 years in our lifetimes in Carter and Clinton.
I am still a huge believer that 9/11 would not have happened if Clinton would have done his job and not destroyed our military and would have read the reports that Bin Laden was in the US on HIS watch and he did nothing.
Well, I suppose you have your reasons, but I am perplexed how Murtha's name came up here in a Bush thread, especially inasmuch as there are so many who could be identified as anti-Iraq.

Although I did not agree with many things that President George Bush Jr. did, he will still go down through history as a great American President.
Yeah I'm sure the people of Iraq and those oil execs will see him as one of the greatest presidents...but to the rest of the world he will forever be known as the biggest donkey.

Exactly..... I thought you were innocent until proven guilty but traitor Jack had them killing in cold blood before they even got a trial. ALL because he is against a war and would sell out our soldiers for his OWN CAUSE and BIAS.
Should be charged for Slander and Treason, one of those Marines is suppose to be filing a lawsuit against him but we never hear about it do we? The lib media hides all of that.
