HOGWASH!
Attempting to play both sides of the fence is HOGWASH!
As I've said, if Bush is to labeled as a protector the question must be asked: Why did he FAIL to be a protector on 9/11?
Try to keep up with the situation and learn WHO was in the White House on 9/11 and stop the delusion that when things are good it's him and when things go to crap it's someone else.

Bombings in Spain and England don't count? I guess they're just our allies, nobody important, right?
Maybeif Bush had gone after the real enemy with the same fervor he pursued his personal bete noire those bombings wouldn't have happened.
If Bush is so great how come neither McCain, Romney, or Rudy wants him campaigning for them?
Am I the only one that finds it odd that Giuliani, Romney, McCain, Huckabee, Thompson, Hunter are all running on basically the same stances as Bush (with the possible exception of immigration) yet none invoke his name? Usually if a candidate is running on roughly the same platform or with the same stances and positions, they will bend over backwards trying to snag the most important endorsement of all, that of the standing President.
Many also said that about Abe Lincoln and Harry Truman. Not now, but back then.
True, depends on how history perverts the facts. If high school history books ignore violations of liberty as they have for Lincoln, perhaps Bush will go down as one of the greatest.
