This is good news. I've always been fond of BMWs. Haven't had one in years, but I am nearly ready for a new car.

That's one reason why I drive Honda Accords.

Never been to Marysville, Ohio, but they do make fine cars there.

Used to live about 10 miles from Marysville, and the workers were very proud of their product. The Honda workers were always easy to spot when you were out and about, almost all of them always wore "Honda" on their polo or sweat shirts.

Would be nice to buy an american car for a change. i've been forced to buy foreign cars for years because American car companies just dont get it..

Example.. I looked at a Ford two years ago.. I insisted on leather seats.. To get leather seats the price of the car jumped $7,000, because I had to buy a "package".

No leather seats are ever worth $7,000, and I could care less about the spoiler, and fancy wheels I was getting with that package.

I'm with you. The last time I visited Ford dealer, they treated me like I was covered with flies.

So glad you pointed that out (but psst I've never owned an American car, me bad).

This could be a first! But if my Honda was made in America, I may have had one and didn't even realize it.

This is good news and it proves that the weakened dollar isn't necessarily just a bad thing.

I'd imagine that it'll be good for exports and tourism too.

Yep, I have been stating for the past few months that the declining $ isn't the disaster many are assuming it to be. Over the long term, it makes the US more competitive.
