What's even crazier is that they're still building shopping malls in this day and age. What is this the 1980s? As if we don't have enough sprawl and ugly big box store development in North America.

Just what this world needs...another Walmart (or whatever crappy chain store they're putting there) to make our cities even uglier.

Yep, her life is ruined because she protested something once. You aren't even trying to do a realistic argument.

More than realistic.

The internet is NOT your friend when you do stupid crap in this day and age.

If she doesn't like something at a future job she might actually have (that is legit)? Who knows what she'll do when she doesn't get her way.

No need to hire a proven nut job/over-sensitive wacko who reacts ridiculously as opposed to using her big girl words and deals with her issues through the proper channels.

The internet also has ADD and will forget this tomorrow when it moves on to the next shiny thing. Also, do you think people protesting are all "nutjobs?" Last time I checked we had the freedom to protest and I doubt a business is going to care about this girl protesting when she was 19 when she is 35. I have never been denied a job because of what I did at 19. Heck, I have never had an employer ask me about my teen years.

Good for you.

Did you get your name in the papers or have a thread about your teen-aged follies on CD?

She's going to have this attached to her name forever.

Just the way it is.

You don't have to like it.

I doubt it, we currently have people filming themselves as people try and dump ice onto themselves...I doubt those people will be having those YouTube videos brought up in an interview 20 years from now.

I personally find it funny that you guys think she somehow ruined her life by protesting something.

You gotta be kidding. People have incredibly short memories and are too wrapped up in their own lives to remember something like this for more than a week much less decades.

Ha!

Good points. Didn't even think about the shopping malls being antiquated.

Maybe they'll put in a Radio Shack!

Oh, she got her 15 minutes of fame. The media will probably have her on every channel for the next couple weeks. Well, maybe not depending on how many reporters ISIS kills or how many buildings the idiots in Ferguson burn.
