But this ISIS force is different than all the other terrorists that we have been fighting. They will be our problem. You can bet on it. We are in their sights.
Sensational...
Especially if you read it in a Nicholas Cage voice

How did it sound in the voices of Hagel and the Chairman of the JCS ?
'Beyond anything we've seen,' 'an imminent threat to every U.S. interest,' 'an organization that has an apocalyptic, end-of- days strategic vision,' 'will eventually have to be defeated' ...
Barack Obama will be 100% to blame when ISIS infiltrates America and attacks.
There is no denying this. ISIS is a fixture of this Administration....not Bush's...not Clinton's....not anyone's but Barack Obama's.
The world will look back and say: "Barack Obama failed the United States of America and the world."
What day and what time is your flight to Iraq to go fight for what you believe in?
I'm sure the peshmerga would love another volunteer to go help and fight along their sides.

I admit they lack the Cage pizzaz, but still....
By the same token, you don't hear Hagel posturing for 10 divisions of US troops to immediately be deployed to Iraq, either.
There are many who are ready and willing to raise the flag of surrender.
Respectfully, I think that's twisted logic thrown out there for partisan political gain.
Yes there is a very large faction in America that are war weary from the last 10-12 years and want no US involvement in foreign lands whatsoever. Who can blame them? They come from both sides of the political isle. That does not translate into waving the white flag of surrender.
I respect their views while disagreeing with them as to our course of action concerning ISIS.

I don't have any partisan politics to gain. I happen to vote Independent. I'm just basing my view on all these "You go fight" and "I'd go to Canada" views that are expressed. It appears to me that many are more than willing to partake of our milk and honey but are totally unwilling to taste any salt and vinegar.
The 10-12 years of war you speak of actually was only a monetary burden for most Americans. Those who actually had their boots on the ground were all volunteers. None were drafted into service. Many volunteered for more than one tour in combat zones I n order to make rank and to further their military careers.
