Yea lets sit back and be good mundanes. Do as you're told.
Luckily our forefathers fought against tyranny.
But aren't the police part of the "well regulated militia" that gun grabbers so often point to?

Any wonder that the 2nd amendment is so important to the individual?

i like what you said about not allowing citizens to arm themselves. of course you mean citizens without felonies yes?
i fully agree with you about gangs. unfortunately not you- not me, are heard. the people that shout the loudest are saying there are no gangs, there are no criminals, no thugs in chicago.
i disagree that the concern in chicago is about gang warfare. if they were truly at war with each other -then the body count would be hood rats----, not children, shopkeepers, police and mothers with babies.

Yes i ment law abiding residents who can lawfully purchase firearms in most states ( illinois is doing them a disservice). The collatteral damage is so disheartening in the gangs wars of chicago. More reason to arm the lawful or at least allow them to choose. Those who can afford to leave do so, leaving the poor who cant get out of the war zone. Those are the ones i worry about.

The gang war that i have heard is from central american gangs trying to force black gangs out. It is the reason for the increased body bag numbers here in indy too. Amnesty will not help.

If a lawful citizen is unarmed it is because they want to be unarmed, so that is their choice.

Not in chicago which has strong gun laws making it almost impossible to purchase fire arms legally

That is funny, why don't you come to Chicago, and I will show you many people who have fire arms that they purchased legally. And not only that, you stated the state of Illinois.

Okay you go ahead and fight law enforcement and see where that goes.

No one said you don't fight for your rights. I am talking about physically or even verbally confronting. Nothing is gone by trying to be belligerent towards an armed LEO.
