My opinion: utter, total, despicable thread fail.

Ya, this was probably his first offense.

Did you really start a thread about why a terminally ill lady was not sent to jail? She had a terminal illness.

Do me a favor....next time (shouldn't have to wait long) some kid shoots a bunch of people in the hood, see what his criminal arrest record is and ask yourself why they aren't locked up. For instance, this guy that died in Staten Island, Eric Garner, had something like 21 past arrests. Or his buddy that filmed it. Even his wife said he had a significant arrest history, including two felony convictions. Yet, he was still walking the streets, and in fact got caught with a gun a few weeks ago.

Sorry, you'll have to try harder to fabricate issues that aren't there. Not to mention, I doubt this lady was 'upper middle class' if she was 35 with a son in high school, single, living in Missouri, and was terminally ill. Doesn't exactly sound like she was living the high life.

He had a greater need for respect than most people.

Many black people have a similar greater need.

Shouldn't Michael Brown's mother receive credit for raising a son who actually graduated from Normandy H.S.?

Just to provide context, Normandy, lost its accreditation status and was taken over by the state of Missouri.

Good point.

Anyone can be on the terrorist watch list, just as anyone can win the Nobel Peace Prize.

The standards have become very "arbitrary".

Then you give credit to Brown's mother.

Until this thread about Wilson's mother, I had never heard one negative comment about Michael Brown's mother. In fact, I think most people sympathize with the woman who lost her son.
