I dont think every kid should get a trophy. It doesnt work that way in the adult world, why should it in the kid world?

In adult world, everone get at least minimum wage. It does work that way.

I would suggest two cups, one for one winner and one for all winners and let people choose.

I would also propose to limit Federal gov power and let states decide what they want to do and people can vote with their votes or move.

but getting a gold sticker on everyones math test despite failing or not is not the same as everyone at mcdonalds getting $8/hr...because NOT everyone working there does indeed get $8/hr.

Isn't that medal just a token handed out to everyone who participated? My sisters get T-shirts for running marathons every year and must have wardrobes of them. They do it for fun, fitness and to get together.

It's ok, dust off your 18th place ribbon, no one will judge; you earned it I'm sure.

Because the point of sending your kid to Little League isn't for him to win. It's for him to play.

That works great up until about 5th grade. Then you have to teach them how to compete. I saw a lot of good athletes over the years that were very skilled at their sport but they had no idea of how to compete.
