Sadly, you are right. That's the root of many of the problems in todays' world.

Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure how I missed it.

Doesn't bode well for Kevin Bacon's acting career!

Wow, what a mess. The owners took the sign down because they didn't want to offend anyone, and then the internet unleashed their fury on them and all the racists came out of the wood work.

I can understand the masses being upset by the pandering to a few, but the vitriol exhibited here is disgusting. What do people think it says about them to do these things?

Time to throw some bacon around the streets. don't like it? move back to where you came from. Don't let the door hit you where the sun don't shine.
The resturant owner is a limp wristed wimp. Barf.

The wussification of America: Don't you dare hurt anyone's feeling for any reason or else you'd be called a bigot and a racist.

But those same people who claim to be tolerant are the ones who throw a hissy fit if you eat meat (evil animal killer!) or don't recycle (evil earth killer!).

Exactly. People are screaming for tolerance while being intolerant themselves.

What I think is that the diner owner shouldn't have wimped out and removed the sign. Maybe no one will order bacon at his diner now.

I do not understand why there are some groups that are so intolerant of others...if you do not agree with them then you are wrong and should be fired, boycotted, business shut down, attacked.etc......now let's all step back and take a look at who are the real intolerant ones in this country! Seems like the ones demanding us to tolerate them are the ones who are not tolerant of others.
