I have a tons of firearms and concealed carry permits from three states. I've taught my kids how to shoot. I think it is absolutely and undeniably stupid beyond belief to let a 9 year old kid fire an Uzi on full-auto holding it all by herself. You have a serious problem if you equate that to being anti-gun.
There's nothing wrong with that poster. He didn't miss what you apparently did--that plenty on ALL of the threads about this are using the tragedy as a reason why children shouldn't be shooting ANY guns. And in a country whose schools offered [gasp!] gun and sporting classes/clubs decades ago.
You are coming off as very confused. You said the range did nothing wrong and they have no intention of changing their policy. I showed you a news article that says they're currently closed to children and that they are reviewing their policy. Suddenly you agree that they SHOULD BE CLOSED, and have the magic clairvoyant power to state that they're NOT GOING TO CHANGE THEIR POLICY.
So please tell us why you think they should be closed while at the same time being so adamant that they're not going to change their policy. Really, I'm dying to hear this one.
Yup, she's the victim. The instructor was merely a self-Darwining idiot - but you'd think he could have found a way of leaving the gene pool that didn't involve traumatizing a kid to that degree.
Sigh. Not saying 9-year-olds can't fire guns when supervised - but FFS, what's wrong with a .22 single-shot rifle? Most soldiers don't go full-auto until they're months into basic.
This was my first thought too... that poor girl is gonna have to carry that guilt for a long long time.
You said the range did nothing wrong and they have no intention of changing their policy.
I did, where? This will be interesting...

Maybe they have to look at everything? That is why they a currently closed. Why do YOU think they should have stayed open?
Why do YOU think they WILL change their policy because of this?
LOL...you have failed in more ways I thought possible...

Yes you did, right here:

There's something wrong with you. I'm not arguing with you any further.
