Even the people in Gaza are wiser than the average Frenchman!

80% of statistics on the internet are made up.

I wonder what percentage of Americans support the War on Drugs, making many times more victims than ISIS so far.

Except that this was a poll by ICM Research which you'd have known if you clicked on the article, so explain how that is made up.

Isn't there a huge Muslim population in France now? That would explain some of it.

From Wiki:

Islam is the second-most widely practiced religion in France behind Roman Catholicism by number of worshippers. With an estimated total of 5 to 10 percent of the national population, France has the largest number of Muslims in Western Europe. The majority of Muslims in France belong to the Sunni denomination.

Or skewed. The more sensational the poll outcome, the more attention the polling company gets.

A few thousand phone polls to strangers is somehow meaningful.

ICI Research used different methods and asked different questions in calls made to GAZA versus Europe. Why is this?

Reportedly, 27% of poll responders in France who claim to be aged 18-24 favor ISIS. This is in contrast to the 7.5% Muslim population in France. So who are these people and how many calls were made to phones in France? Are these calls random dialed? With caller ID, how many/ few people pick up the phone from an unknown number?

Estimates for all countries vary.
Reportedly it is in the 7.5% range.

Russia has the highest percentage of Muslims in Europe. Why didn't they poll Russia?
