I am a liberal who opposes legalization as well.

Illicit drug use is by no means limited to the left. Perhaps considering the histories of Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Tray Radel and others, we should think that all conservatives use drugs and lie about it... at least according to the OP's logic...

I am so sick of correlational data of Marijuana use being linked to schizophrenia! Please read the current research before telling others "facts" on the matter. Schizophrenics sometimes self-medicate w it and/or are predisposed to use it based on brain chemistry. Marijuana does not turn people into schizophrenics. It's sad that anyone ever published one correlational study on this. It's as scientific as declaring that eating breakfast makes you a Conservative.

Both liberals and conservatives are mentally ill.

Liberals have "major depressive disorder" from internalizing all of the perceived injustices in the world. Conservatives have "psychotic disorder not otherwise specified" which includes their paranoia over being taxes too much and that liberals are all conspiring to move to "turn our red states blue!"

Yes..Medicaid and Medicare two programs that help the elderly and provide them with much needed medical assistance and insurance so they do not die or suffer from lack of medical care. Who was the liberal who greatly expanded Medicare's prescription drug program? None other than conservative icon George W.Bush.

The fact is liberals move the country forward, conservative's hold it back. But that is a topic for another thread.
