the internets allows people to say whats on their mind
use it as an opportunity to see how different people thought processes are
and of course people will constantly talk about obama, he is the current potus
i was in an elevator one day and a bunch of corny white yuppie type people got on, just listening to them chatter for a few secs just makes you shake your head sometimes you really cant blame people for their thought processes, everyone has a different frame of reference based on the life they were born into
instead of getting angry and calling names back and forth its probably better to learn about peoples personal experience and background then you will get a better understanding of why people are the way they are and why they think the way they think...alot can be traced back to childhood
Note, though, that CBS is actually misinterpreting the data they cite. Looking at the source CBS cited, the percentages aren't per race, they're the percentages of total welfare recipients by race: Welfare Statistics | Statistic Brain
Either CBS journalists are not too bright, or they're deliberately misrepresenting the actual data.
That said, compare those percentages with the corresponding population percentages, and it's clear which group is disproportionately reaping the benefits of government welfare spending:
When people have been rejected by friends, ignored by family, and coworkers complain enough to get these people removed from work...they come to the internet. It's the last refuge for the bigoted morons, conspiracy theorists, and cranks that still exist in society. People try to have ago at explaining reality but usually without some actual personal psychiatrist helping them...it is pretty useless.
It's kind of fun to rattle the cages they built around themselves a bit, but it's better to not get drawn into it.
So many posts about blacks or Hispanics. I get that the Ferguson incident is still fresh on the mind. But let it go. It's really sad how many racist people there are in this country.
uhm its a debate forum with nearly a million people posting/debating their multi-thousands of opinions
if some one says something about a place/person/stance and the person being talked about is black..that doesn't make it racist
for example if someone was to mention Mississippi and the fact that it has the worst rated schools and also has the highest black population percentage..that is called stating facts...its not racism
