Has Congress declared war?

Seems to me that a heck of a lot of Republicans want to bomb the beejesus out of Iraq and put boots on the ground.

Who is this tea party darling calling for bombing the Islamic state back to the stone age? :

Neither Congress nor Ted Cruz has put boots on the ground in Iraq. Neither Congress nor Ted Cruz has launched a bombing campaign in Iraq. Because someone calls for an action is in no way akin to someone actually initiating such action. This is Obama's Iraqi War.

Excuse me, but if George W. Bush had not been appointed president, there would be no Iraq War, no airstrikes and no terrorists cutting off Americans' heads in the mideast in response. The conservatives initiated this mess, but now they want to say it's not their responsibility? Bullsh*t. They own it and historically this war will always be owned by Bush and Cheney.

Obama on the Iraq invasion in 2002: "I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaida. I am not opposed to all wars. I'm opposed to dumb wars."

The US has been debt free one year, 1825. Every president inherits debt, adds to it and leaves it for the next guy.

Reagan continues to hold the record for the greatest percentage increase given the federal debt trebled on his watch. It doubled on the Bush 2 watch. And Obama inherited it all and like those who came before, has added to the debt.

Thus far, Obama is in position #3.

What makes some folks just flat out lie in order to attempt to prove their political points. Don't they realize they will be found out? Obama is # 1 for increasing the national debt.

Another uninformed liberal talking head.

Fact 1: Iraq secured and a United States military presence is in Iraq.

Fact 2: George Bush signed an agreement to withdraw military troops from Iraq.

Fact 3: George Bush left office SIX years ago.

Fact 4: Obama promised to remove all troops from Iraq. He backed up his claim by basing it upon the Bush agreement.

Fact 5: Obama removed all troops from Iraq and kept his campaign promise.

Fact 6: ISIS moves into Iraq out of Syria where Obama drew his infamous line in the sand.

Fact 7: Obama reintroduces military boots on the ground and initiates bombing campaign in Iraq.

I'm very sorry to break it to you liberals but when Bush left office, Iraq was secure and did have a United States military presence there. Under Obama, Iraq is a powder keg and we again have a military presence there.

Criticism for defending an embassy, some very short memories.
And the bombing is for???

You see facts in the usual right-wing way, by ignoring some of the facts and twisting other to fit your POV. Don't feel bad you are typical of most righties these days.
