1. There are different grades and they command different prices. High quality can easily cost double the price of medium quality.

2. There are huge fluctuations in prices depending on the city. Both legal and street prices vary by more than 100% from city to city. Eventually, this will be less so.

3. Prices change quickly, especially in CO where new producers and outlets are coming on line every week.

The facts are that pot was $500 per ounce in Denver earlier this year. The price has come down a lot but is still much higher than street prices when normalizing for quality and location.

How can people take you seriously if you have such problems understanding markets?
I am staring at the back of a Westword with the advertised price of $120 an ounce. The one that talks about fish and the watershed from about a month ago. This is reality and not your fantasy trying to cope with justifying the position you want to keep.

$120 an ounce is ridiculous for a legal product.

I agree.. I can buy 4 cases of Heineken for the price of an once at $120, that's 96 glass bottles of quality beer for one once of bush... quality weed should sell for like 60 to 75 and once.. get it down to that price and it will wipe out the cartels ever dealing with weed again...

Except for the fact that it isn't those plants nor does it have the same effects they do.

You may want to check your facts. Coca, opium, and cannabis differ quite a bit as far as qualities and effects that they have on the individual.

you cant die from an overdose from pot.. but you can with the above

pot is not physically addicting like coca and opium..

pot can be grown almost any where..

pot has way more medicinal qualities..

its like comparing light beer to 151 proof alcohol..

Prohibitionists can't be bothered with the facts.
