Even after recent Supreme Court decisions, Chicago still has some of the strictest "gun control" laws in the nation.

How's that working out for them?

Maybe they should enact even more laws restricting the guns of law-abiding people, while the shooters and murderers keep ignoring them. Yeah, that'll work.

I changed the title to accurately reflect the info in the article. 11 killed plus sixty wounded but not killed, makes 71 total people shot.

And the article said "at least".

Shootings only happen in Liberal cities, almost exclusively Chicago.

Anyone who tells you differently is a Liberal deep cover agent.

Bad things only happen in Liberal cities. Never in Conservative ones, unless Liberals are traveling. Like this actually happened in Chicago, http://foxnewsinsider.com/2014/07/05...tival-shooting, but the news agency was told to move the location as part of the conspiracy.

Their murder rate has been cut to half, but I am not here to argue it is because of the gun laws.

Hmm, the Chicago Tribune says 82 were shot. The Trib also has a list of addresses.

Guns are all over the city. So why are the shootings clustered into just a few areas, rather than all over the place as the guns are?

Could it be that people having guns, is NOT the cause of the shootings?

Naw.

Most shootings are turf battles and drug gang related.
Tough municipal gun control laws aren't effective when surrounded by municipalities with more liberal gun laws.

It's not a gun problem, it's the lack of opportunity for the permanent underclass.

But, but, but, Chicago is running neck-and-neck with New York and California for the title of most unfriendly to guns venue in the country. How could this happen?
