Oh well. Another one down. Does Rand Paul still have any sense or has he too joined the chorus of chicken hawks, war mongers and interventionists in calling for another military fiasco in the middle east?

I think Obama is still not convinced, though it is clear that Cameron filled his head with visions of a glorious holy war where we kill people to promote our values of freedom.

"ISIS is growing in strength. It has money, it has organization, it has the capacity to inflict real damage. So when we think about a response we have to think about how to destroy that," Warren told Yahoo's Katie Couric.

If Elizabeth Warren would actually go over to the ME and fight ISIS, I'd be happy to provide her a rifle.

Until then, she's just one more political animal willing to throw away the lives of American servicemen in a useless show to make political points.

Yep. A couple hundred more boots on the ground every week where he said there would be none. It doesn't take long before advisers turn into combat operations and support bases. We have seen this newsreel before - way too often.

Good to know.
You brought up race in that post. I went nowhere near it in my response.

And in terms of war in general:

WWII had the greatest number of causalities.

The countries with the greatest losses, in order, were:
Russia (between 21 and 28 million) - almost all white people killed by mostly white people.
China (between 10 and 20 million) - Asian people killed by mostly Asian people.
Germany (between 7 and 10 million) - almost all white people killed by mostly white people.
It's the old faithful, knee-jerk reaction from the liberal porg, hate America first, left.

Which "godless brown people" are you referring to that the US go to war with "in recent history?"
