Americans are very smart, with the exception of some of those who are in Washington, you have to consider that most of the items we take for granted today, and power the world's economy were invented by Americans.

The light bulb and electricity - Thomas Edison
Computer technology was credited to many Americans such as Bill Gates and Steve Wozniak, and many others before them
The powered airplane was invented by Wilbur and Oliver Wright
The Internet was invented by Al Gore... Okay, scratch that one But it was originally developed for the U.S. military by brilliant American engineers

A small intellectual elite makes most of the decisons here in America and the rest of us are just workers who do what we are told. The average person is incredibly stupid and is basically a slave to its masters.
