Sure you bet. Keep on believing that. And do not worry your head about the 75% approval rating that President Obama enjoyed on Inauguration Day. Just in case you have trouble with arithmetic, a very large number of Republicans were necessarily in that 75%.
Now his approval rate is 38%. He started out with vast majority approval, and he blew it. But what else could possibly have happened, since he has been the worst president since Richard Nixon(and may yet surpass Nixon.)

Barak Obama is not being treated differently than recent presidents... of both parties... going back to the post Watergate era.
EVERY president since Watergate has been seen as less than this mythical "president of everybody"...except Carter who was generally dismissed by everybody even democrats.
