first, he didn't even win the first election. second hes an well known idiot around the world. third, before 911 he did nothing, and after 911 he put the patriot act in effect which infringes on our rights and he managed to start an endless war on the basis of lies. before i go on is there anything that hes done that is good?

This is what I mean by ignorance. Not to be insulting, but apparently you don't have all the facts or perhaps you might be more reasonable with your answer.

If you're going to credit him with keeping us safe after 9/11, and I don't think he's due that credit, after all, two coalition members have been attacked and in a coalition an attack on one should be considered an attack on all, but...........................if you're going to attempt to credit him with protecting us after 9/11 then the question must be asked:Why did he fail to protect us on 9/11?

That's kind of a strange question to ask when President Bush was in power for only 9 months. The obvious question should be why didn't Clinton protect us?

So, nothing happens while he's in office and it's his doing but when something happens while he's in office it has nothing to do with him? And you conveniently ignore the fact that two coalition members were attacked, where was the great protector then? So I don't think it was a strange question at all.
And only 9 months? Just when should we be expecting a President to start doing his job? After a year? Two Years? After he's left office and is bored?
The Pro-Bush strategy is always to blame it on Clinton. So far the books written about the transition indicate that Clinton was concerned about Al-Qaeda (though probably not as much as he should have been), but Bush's team was focused even then on Iraq and discounted the warnings about Al-Qaeda as they were putting together their foreign policy. Since their focus was on Iraq, the intelligence agencies also focused on Iraq in order to provide the Bush administration with the information they were requesting. Any opportunities we had to stop 9/11 slipped past us, in part because the terrorist attack was bold and unprecedented, in part because there was a transition between two administrations that interrupted communication flow, and in part because Bush had an agenda against Iraq before he even took office.
Gosh, ya know, you're so right. Thank you for allowing me, and others with a Pro-Bush strategy, to see the light and not blame any of this on Bill Clinton.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I feel so much better now. I may actually be able to get on with my day.
9-11 issues,he actually has done good,Afghanistan was diectly tied to terrorists who did attack us.The Phillipines also has a surge in Islamic terrorists we are engaging.
His(our) largest blunder IMO is Iraq, adopting a premtive strategy which is open to abuse and mishandling. Also, the ignorance of thinking people around the world want us to "free" them.
If we are going to go to war though on countries because "they might" attack us we are going down a dangerous path that is going to lead us to destruction alot more than a terrorist with a bomb could do.
Morally and financially America is going bankrupt because of this. After that, some not so friendly countries might say "mission accomplished" after that happens.
Religious and economic policies he is a failure, the government has grown under this admin.,something he promised to not do.
Religiously, when after 9-11 he appoints a attorney general who is frightened by a nude statue and creates a task force to go after mainstream adult porn industry instead of focusing on national security issues I just had to shake my head........
And marriage is not the federal governments business one way or the other.
