Black youth unemployment is already about 40%. Let's let more illegals in and it will rise even more.

Yep, the Dems are doing a great job of taking care of the Black Community keeping them poor, broke and unemployed.

How is not giving amnesty to illegals a slap in the face to the "immigrant community"? Legal immigrants dislike illegal aliens and it is a slap in the face to legal immigrants to reward illegal aliens.

Frank Sharry is a disgusting person who gives the finger to millions of suffering underemployed and unemployed American citizens.
You're the exception to the rule, however. All the polls, advocacy groups (the NCLR is just one of them), marches, etc. prove that the majority of Hispanics want amnesty and we all know the reason why. The truth is the truth and it's not of our own making. Are there other groups that want it also such as bleeding heart liberals? Of course, but the vocalism and demands are coming mostly from the Hispanic community.

This whole immigration debate is a farce. I have to laugh at all these posters who blame Obama like the Repubs have nothing to do with this. Big Business , especially Agribusinesses, want immigration reform and are pushing hard for it. Both sides do not want it brought up prior to the election as they know it is a hot button issue and will offend some major constituency of both parties. You conservatives can continue your denial fest on this issue, but look at your own party before casting blame.

There is enough blame to go around for both parties. No one is denying that. However, it is Obama who is president right now and it is he and the Democrats that are pushing amnesty not the GOP. As for the Ag business there are already unlimited visas for legal, foreign workers so just why would they want any so-called reform aka amnesty? Why would other businesses be pushing for "reform" when they already have their cheap, illegal workers? If legalized they would have to pay them a fair wage with benefits and there certainly are enough American workers who would work for that.

People don't forget words. Last year. The year before. 8 years before. We remember.
That is exactly what he plans to do in the interview with Chuck Todd that will be aired today. "Flexibility" after the election is exactly what Obama will say (but surely he won't use that word again)..... and he will say it is because those nasty Republicans are "politicizing" Immigration reform.

The GOP is "politicizing" it? He doesn't see the irony of his delay - admitting it is for Election Politics, as pretty much the Ultimate in "politicizing". Team Obama has to be fully aware that the American People do not want his form of "Immigration Reform" -- if they did want it, he wouldn't "politicize" it with his Delay of an Executive Action that is both Un-Constitutional and un-wanted.

You have to wonder what color the sun is in ObamaWorld. He will admit to one and all that it is HE and his Team, that is "Politicizing" Immigration Reform. Will Chuck Todd call him on that? Doubtful.

NOTE to Obama's "Immigration Reform & Amnesty" fanbase - How does it feel to know that you are nothing more than a Political Pawn to this man?

The Republicans believe that Hispanics are socially conservative and therefore they can lure them with all kinds of anti-abortion, anti-gay and pro-catholic propaganda but it is not those issues whom drive the Hispanic voters. Latinos want an open-border policy, amnesty and more welfare. They are in United States for working and send money back home to their relatives and not be a part of the greater American society. United States is a proposition nation – a former British colony turning into a self-governed colony. America is not a country – America is just a business in America you get paid. It is time for Republicans to accept that this is not white men who run the show anymore and so stop with this charade of holding onto power they will lose within thirty years. Let the Liberal-Democrats and the Latinos have United States. Why fight it? United States will turn into something more similar o Mexico or Brazil than WASPY-USA but who cares? I have been to both Mexico and Brazil and I have nothing bad to say about these countries. In fact – both of these countries are rather sane compared to United States. Brazil is a fantastic country and people are pretty open about the purpose of Brazil – a proposition nation.

So the issue of illegal aliens, anchor babies, employers hiring of them illegally, costs of bussing them to schools they're not paying taxes to attend, among a host of other issues associated with illegal immigration that resulted in calls from all sides to enact some legislation that Obama promised to address as early as 2008 is now not going to be addressed for another year at least because the issue of illegal aliens crossing the southern border has created a crisis due to it not being addressed for years.

I think I'm getting it.

La raza Hispanics MAY have to do that IF the Dems did the right thing and started taking care of their "base" like our working class US citizens, even Chicanos.

Um no, it's quite the opposite. Amnesty is choosing politics over the people of the U.S., Mr.Sharry. Granting amnesty is not solving the illegal immigration problem either.

It's a slap in the face to the Latino community? How so? Aren't latinos obligated to honor our immigration laws just like everyone else? It has no affect on any "immigrant" community. This is about illegal aliens not immigrants, Ms. Jimenez.

Obama defends decision to delay immigration action
President care more for his party than the Laws of this country. If President Obama goes the path of Executive order , it will go badly for the DNC this November.

Just like Benghazi, the IRS Scandal and everything else is measured by political outcome , instead of the Good for the USA!

No one should be surprised with this none decision.
