He outed himself and sent them a copy of a 2 year old email that they didn't know existed. An investigation of sorts was expected to follow. Bizarre.

I lean heavily to the left and I see nothing racist about the email.

He wanted out the "black league" and gave the powers that be in that league what they want most.

Appears to be an attempt to analyze the market and how it is affecting his team.

[i wonder how long it took him to find that email]

Would have been a completely different story if he suggested that black fans need to be reduced or kept out of the stadium, that would have obviously been racist. Nothing here is even remotely similar to Sterlings comments.
If anyone should be offended I would think it would be southern whites as his comments seem to make serious negative assumptions about them.

I live in Atlanta but am no sports fan but LOL
he did imply a lot~~~

This has nothing to do with the left.

Here's the problem..

This isn't racist...this is a case of a man not knowing the market he bought into.

Atlanta is one of the worse sports cities in America, and it's obvious that he didn't know that.

He knew it, that's why they sold off the Hockey team to Canada.

He wanted out...pure and simple. The Hawks are in a bad basketball market. The South is a bad professional sports market as it is, and Atlanta is one of the worst even in that bunch.

If i had a billion dollars to throw around on a pro sports franchise, i'd never buy one South of the Mason-Dixon line. Those people give first priority to college sports, and that's all there is to it.

Yes, the Cowboys, Redskins, and maybe one or two other teams might be an exception, but that's only because of the overall popularity of pro football. An NFL owner can neglect his franchise and still make a fortune.
