Socialism is for the people, not the socialists!
There's lots of wealth that can be taxed there!

They should forget the word 'tax' and make it a voluntary wealth charitable donation and then lead by example.

Socialism is for the people, not the socialists!
So what is your point? None of this means anything. None of these people have spoken out to object to paying their taxes and do pay them.

You object that they earn a salary for their work? You sound like a Communist.

Bernie Sanders is not a Democrat, he has made a point of staying out of that camp. The current president is a Democrat. He has surrounded himself with Wall Street elites, he was unwilling to pursue a national health care plan, and he has repeatedly turned his back on even the most basic issues of importance to organized labor. The presumed front runner for the upcoming Democratic nomination is even more blatant in her brown-nosing of corporate and banking interests. The Democratic Party as a whole has steadfastly supported every bit of legislation that has destroyed our manufacturing industry: NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. Needless to say The Republican Party has been no better.

Unicorns aside; The Democratic Party is, metaphorically speaking, a bad case of gonorrhea. While the Republican Party is a bad case of syphilis. While syphilis is more potentially harmful than the other, gonorrhea is usually more difficult to detect. Either way, we have what the more refined among us might refer to as a "social disease".
So when Obama's minions dictated the terms of the GM and Chrysler bankruptcies, they most certainly stripped billions of the ownership of the means of production from its rightful owners and GAVE IT TO THE WORKERS. Secured creditors of Chrysler and unsecured bondholders of GM lost billions to the socialist methodology dictated by the Obama administration. Not to mention the wealth that was also earmarked for workers at the expense of investors to preserve pension benefits that would have been reduced in any bankruptcy run in accordance with the rule of law. SO I have to disagree with you.

Hold onto your wallets, folks.
Double taxation? Not really. Straight up theft? Yup.

I am okay with bumping the taxes a little on people who have more than, say, $150 million. Put it on infrastructure and I doubt they would even miss it.
