It's certainly not impeachable or anything that will have any legs, but it certainly is disrespectful of the military who are protecting him and of the customs of the military of which he is the Commander in Chief. The little things can be meaningful and gradually erode the big things.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. It was all kinds of wrong, and I'm not going to explain my personal outrage. Those who get it don't need an explanation. Those who don't get it, still won't get it no matter how many words I type.
His salute was an afterthought, just like this country and the people in it are to him.
