Particularly in regards to free speech, the Founders envisioned tilting all advantages towards the People and away from the Government. Read the Federalist Papers for more on that.
So you don't think they meant actual people....

That's not the issue. A CEO or a president of a company has representation as an individual. I'm still amazed the usual far right folks want multinational corporations this amount of power.....

I'm amazed you think entities are liable to pay taxes subjected to them by the general body, and have no problem denying them a first amendment right to object..

Since we are talking about campaign finance and campaign money.... Thought I'd try and stick to the topic. So you see how silly it is to give a corporation the same treatment as an individual... Great.

It's amusing how you far righties are playing fast and loose with the constitution... But the 2nd amendment is set in stone....

They do have a right to speech, but we are talking about campaign finances.... Anyone knows a corporation can say whatever they want.... Don't be disingenuous.....

You're talking about completely opposite scenarios..

one is the lack of ability to vote, one is the demand that they actually pay taxes...

One requires an action to be taken, the other a lack of action.

They have ALWAYS been treated as individuals.. with limited rights to do things like vote, (no different than convicted felons and children) but that doesnt mean they cant spend their own money AS THEY WISH..

You want their money to go to the taxpayer, but dont think they are entitled to representation on how that money gets spent.

TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION is what you are calling for, didnt you learn anything in school against this principle?
