Roger L. Simon » The Nowhere Man Goes to War

"Pity Barack Obama. Our hapless chief executive must be suffering from a cognitive disorder the size of Alpha Centauri. The poor guy grew up on the anti-imperialist mouthings of lefty poet Frank Marshall Davis, schoolboy revolutionary Bill Ayers and later anti-Israel professor Rashid Khalidi, not to mention the well-known anti-American excrescences of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and now he has to go to war — as an imperialist — against the very Third World people he was told again and again we colonized and destroyed. His head must be about to explode"

How did we elect a soft communist to the WH?

Because the left thought it was so cool and progressive to elect our first black president even if he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed...but he's still a tool.

He's a communist how? Why is it that you need to post the opinions of others instead of coming up with your own. To boot, we're not going to war. There's no imperialism happening here. You might want to research what that means.

Incidentally, there's broad support for what he's doing among Republicans. Feel free to carry on with your Obama Derangement though. No doubt he invented mosquitoes as well.

"Nowhere Man" is an apt name for our feckless leader. I was thinking more "The Fool on the Hill".

So when the republicans want a war you go NO!!! NO!!! NO!!!

We're not going to war? Is that what Obama and Kerry are telling you? We're just going after people who are spewing threats at the US. What do you call it when you conduct airstrikes and arm rebels, war games??? The absence of boots on the ground means it's not a "real" war?

When Obama wants a war and the republicans support it because it's financially beneficial to the military corporation, all of a sudden the republicans are OK in your book.

It's projected that Obama's plan will take years and carry over into the next administration. When we get the bill for years of airstrikes, arming "rebels", thousands of military "advisors" in the ME, and if any Americans get killed in the process, at least you have a finger to point the blame on the republicans because they "supported" Obama, yet you refuse to acknowledge that the democrats gave just as much, if not more, support to the republicans to invade Iraq. Oh, wait, they were lied to, right? But Obama has never told a lie and Kerry would never lie, would they?

So, what did ol' Frank, Bill and Khalidi teach the guy? Or better yet, what did he learn from them?

Not sure it was American exceptionalism and capitalism.

He's been pushed into a corner. Dictator type leadership can get very dangerous when that happens.

As for Republican support....it's more a following, the very thing a dictator type would like and the very thing he covets.

Did I mention he is black? There, you can now call me a racist.

He's half black, and when his administration craters completely it will be claimed by some that the white part is what failed. It's not his DNA, it's his (lack of) character.

So true. Obamabots foolishly think it isn't a war if it is drones dropping bombs from up high.

What do the people on the ground in Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria think about Obama not being at war with them, just dropping bombs on them killing civilians in the process?

Obama has bombed twice as many countries as Bush.

Obama has started drone bombing wars in Somalia.

Obama has started drone bombing wars in Yemen.

Obama has created more foreign military bases.

Obama has sent special forces into double the countries that Bush did.

Obama has continued torture...it is okay we have other countries do it for us.

Obama renewed the Patriot Act that he opposed.

When Obama arms rebels it is smart...even though ISIS is already using arms given to "moderate" Muslim rebels.

He knows exactly what he wants to accomplish: an Islamist takeover of the middle east and north Africa.
