Everything is possible to the GWNJ's.

Certain natural disasters are deceptive in nature. Ever heard of the calm before the storm? The best and most obvious example is tsunami. A tsunami doesn't just come in all at once. Usually, a giant wave would come in. Then all the water would pull out just as quickly as it came in. At this point, most people would think the worst has passed. Children would run out to the beaches to see all the fish left behind. People are pouring outside to look at the devastation. Alarms would shut down. For most people, things would go back to normal. And just as no one suspects, the ocean comes in with little warning and sweeps through everything, including people.

I'm sure during the calm period, there are always doubters pointing out how calm everything is even though all the signs are there.

Anyway, regardless, I think it's already too late. The killer is in the methane gas trapped in the arctic regions. Once enough of that gas escapes it will be a spiraling effect. No point really to think about it.
We should have thought about that 12,000 years ago when we caused the glaciers to start melting.

Time will tell if global warming has stopped or has simply been paused by some process of storing the energy. It would be nice to find out it has stopped but deeper ocean currents absorbing the heat is entirely possible. Water has a very high specific heat. If we're lucky, this will result in the ice caps growing and more heat will be reflected back into space. I just hope it doesn't change the ocean currents to our disliking.
Sounds like the earth taking care of itself.

Now if the warmers would stop their incessant shrieking about the so-called oncoming warming apocalypse.........................

LOL, the internet is replete with articles about how its been over 17 years without any warming.

But stick your head in the sand and deny the truth.

Once again for the terminally stupid;

Climate change happens all the time. AGW is bunk. Do not try to lump the two together to make your failed argument work.

I like how the global warmers can't point to current examples of global warming but still point to computer models and projections of what might happen decades from now based on conjecture and theory. Like we're supposed to be frightened and willingly allow this cash garb scheme.
If they're so paranoid and afraid why don't they move to Alaska where it will be nice and warm and pick out a nice mountain top where they'll be high and dry.

Maybe we'll find out in 500 years or so if that is the case. But in the meantime, can they stop trashing our economy please? Shutting down the coal plants is a disaster for the country.

Gotta love these Global Warming pimps...like Al Gore who preaches reducing carbon footprint while flying around the world spewing millions of gallons of fuel into the atmosphere on his private jet. And Obama & Michelle taking different giant jets to Hawaii. Do as I say, not as I do.

Reminds me of Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi forcing his citizens to live under the thumb of brutal religious rules while he had a full bar, party girls and porn movies all at the people's expense.
