I'm gonna be completely real with you dude. I was in your situation a month or so ago and decided to call one. No expectations. No BS. I was just at that stage of my life where I felt lonely and dejected and was willing to spend money to have a bit of company. I thought I was the last person who'd be doing that type of thing, but...
I'm constantly surrounded by friends and other individuals who think they have my best interest at heart, but in reality they goad me and they treat me very poorly. Most of the people I am close to are very dysfunctional. As I've said in my earlier posts, I have been a long time lurker and so I have seen some of your posts, Hurricane. Having said that, I do share some of the sentiments you constantly post about. It's evident that people are going to steer you away from this because 1) It's illegal and 2) It is inconsistent with social norms. I'm definitely not in the position to be giving you advice dude, but you seriously need to evaluate your options. If you feel it's right and there's no other way to seek out companionship, then do it.
This the people on here don't know you accept for the stuff you post for them to tell you what to do or get therapy is like negrodamus who has no idea what he is talking about.
This thread is awkward because it conflates love and sex, which, is probably not the intention of the OP, and probably is not the intention of most who are similarly situated.
