Don't flip-flop on promises you make, or make promises you can't keep or intend to keep. It' makes one look like a fool and/or liar.

A new poll reports that the American people are now more likely to trust Republicans to handle immigration and less likely to trust Democratic plans to offer illegals a path to citizenship (aka amnesty).

The new survey is decisive; 35% say the Republican Party would do a better job on immigration while only 27% say the Democrats would. That's a dramatic reversal from the previous year.

The Polling Company also reports that Independents (47%) are more likely than Republicans (40%) or Democrats (37%) to want zero new immigrants allowed into our country.

Obama had promised to ease the entry of more illegals this summer, but he obviously has heard from Democrats running for office in November. The Central American kids who crash over our border have made it more difficult to pretend there is no problem

If Democrats running for office in November have stopped Obama from going forward with his immigration plan before the elections, makes one wonder if they think his plan isn't that great. If he does go forward after the elections, how do they think it will help them in 2016? Amnesty still won't give illegals the right to vote in a presidential election.

Obamas "delay" of his immigration plan is nothing more than a political device. He doesn't want his party members to have to vote on it before the upcoming election.

Sort of show how much he actually cares about the illegals by putting off action that he promised.

And people still believe what this idiot says.

The Immigration passed by the Dems and Repubs in the Senate is sitting in the House right now and has been for over a year now and nothing is being done there, why is that?

Liberal policies rarely stand up to scrutiny when the American public have had an opportunity to evaluate those policies. Democrats' policies on amnesty for illegal immigrants are yet another example of that.

Because it's a terrible bill drafted by liberals and RINO's. If liberals and RINO's like it, then there's nothing good in it that is beneficial to America and Americans.

And by that train of thought the House is excused for not doing their job of reviewing it and making changes then working out a viable Bill, Noted, you are part of the problem not the solution. Please never ever whine again about the Senate not addressing House Bills, the second you do you get a great big H to wear on your forehead from then on.

That is not the only thing in the Bill, but thanks for demonstrating your complete ignorance of what is actually in the Bill and your nerve to attempt to discuss something you refuse to even read, pure genius

The House pledged to dissect the bill into parts and pieces because "comprehensive" bills rarely get the job done. That's their prerogative. The House does not have to take a Senate Bill and work from it. Never has, never will.

But it's the toxic part of the bill, and the part that will never see the light of day as written. Democrats and Rino's could promise every American a gold bar, but the toxicity of amnesty that comes with it would defeat that provision.

American's do not want amnesty.
