As to what the gun controllers really want; They want to disarm everybody except themselves. Remember the left wing anti-gun reporter who shot a teenager for skinny dipping in his pool? That's them.
I'm for sensible gun legislation. . not taking guns from idiots. I mean sheesh, if you want to own a gun its darwinism at its best.

Seems simple
1 - Registration/Permit. You can't be crazy, or a criminal, you must be TRAINED to use the weapon, store it, etc.
2 - sales tracked of guns. You buy a gun, no mater who you transfer it, that sell should be registered
3- lost gun pentalities. If you keep losing your guns. . .you can't keep getting more. (i.e. some way to curb black market)
4 - gunpowder markers. All ammo registered. You buy a bullet, use a bullet, it leaves a mark. Police can track it back
5 - stiff fines (and possible losing your permit) for unsecured firearms
6 - Local states, business, and persons will have the right to refuse weapons at their establishment.

All of the above allows you to buy any gun you want and use it responsibility. . .while reducing crime/etc

one can hope

hell, i could loosen Number 2 if we did number 4 (marked gun powder and registered ammo, not the guns)

It took them 2 1/2 years to realize that Form 4473 has one new box "Not Hispanic or Latino".

Vermont gets killed for being too liberal, but they have some of the most liberal gun laws in the US. Pretty much anyone can carry, without licensing or permits. Vermont also has basically zero violent crime, why is that?

Liberal Democrat agenda– to repeal the 2nd amendment and eventually, the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Honest answer is because Vermont is one of the wealthiest and highly educated and literate states in the union. Wealthy college educated people don't have to resort to drug dealing for income nor do they tend not to get all shooty in arguments.

How so? Nothing significant changed on Form 4473 under Obama.

Vermont Crime -

1) Gun Law restrictions follow crime. It is, no doubt, Vermont having low crime that allows for its liberal gun rights. I.e. Vermont would start taking away "rights" if there was a few nice spree killings, etc. or uncontrollable homicide rates (see Detroit, NYC, Chicago).

2) very low population (49th out of 50th).

3) no minorities (seriously its 95% white). Technically speaking most gun violence is a minority issue

4) very high income (15th highest state)

5) overall crime very low (45) low crime, low gun homicides

Bottom Line: If Chicago looked like the above, it wouldn't need gun control either

Also - gun control in the US is a joke, as long as you drive a few miles down the road for different rules

So...based on your post, it sounds like minorities are the problem when it comes to gun crimes. I don't think anyone would disagree with you.

What do you propose we do with these minorities since minorities, and not guns, are the problem?
