I bet Obama regrets that decision.

One less taxpayer to steal from.

Correction: Killed an American Terrorist without due process. Good for him.

Terrorist as defined by Obama.
Victims character aside, I don't want to give any president the power to kill on a whim. I wonder why you don't see the danger in that?

This is a wink and a nod by the House to Obama saying that they are not standing in his way at this point.

That being said, this plan is doomed to fail, and may very well not be implemented as stated at all. In fact, there are currently more than 20,000 IS fighters with more constantly being added. Meanwhile, Obama has proposed a force of 5,000 Syrian rebels, which need to be first recruited and then trained, to defeat this army. Needless to say, there is zero chance of this plan working.

Congress is kicking the can down the road until after the election in November. At that time, they better get serious about this and develop a viable strategy for dealing with this problem.

As it stands now, we still have no real strategy to speak of.

House passed a few things along with a continuing Resolution. Also the Ex- IM Bank. Why do they have to fund for such short terms? The Republicans, who claim to be about business, throw a monkey wrench with these short term moves, planning becomes almost impossible.

Is it all about talking points when they get back from their election vacation? Maybe they are trying to create work as they seem to feel they do not have enough to do.

If the Republicans win the Senate in November, they can revisit this and do it in a way that is more to their own liking, without having to run it through a Harry Reid run, majority Democrat Senate first.

Nope, as defined by the mans own words. Not on whim when you declare openly that you are an enemy of the USA then you take your chances, he lost

If you say so, there is still something called a Presidential Veto and the Repubs will not have the votes to override them, so either learn to play with others or continue what seems to be their best talent, whine some more.

Too close to election so neither side is going to rock the boat and get themselves in the press with comments that will used against them and/or their party.
This "obstructionist" Congress always seem to come to bipartisan agreement when it involves war.
Neither side wants to deal with the budget so just continue to kick that can down the road.

We should have put money in the pot to fight Ebola months ago.
