Slick public relations and advertising campaigns are underwritten to fool the public and smear the truthtellers. Foundations and think tanks have been created by industry just to create doubt and hammer away against the overwhelming evidence of climate disruption. [MOD CUT/copyright violation]

Climate Change You Can Believe In*|*Bill Moyers
Now lets deal with this stupidity.

google giving money to politicians who have rejected CC... GOOGLE. DID YOU READ THAT???? GOOGLE for crying out loud! Bill Moyer is so sure that the people are such idiots, they will accept this as some kind of real stuff.

GOOGLE who we all know are led by solid liberals who gave mega bucks to Obama and who have come out decidedly on the side of the CAGW folks. GOOGLE.

i dont need to read any further to realize the idiocy of this article.

some nut job slaps the word "study" on some liberal yellow journalism and we are all supposed to take it seriously.

sorry that ship sailed a long time ago.

Point of order: I don't expect right-wing denialists to take facts that contradict Republican drivel seriously. I expect them to continue to spout nonsense long after their claims have been shown to be false. The point is not to change the minds of denialists, facts won't accomplish that. The point is to show that right-wing denialist claims are nonsense and that the people who make them don't merit being taken seriously.

If that makes denialists whine and cry about Al Gore or get upset when people with critical thinking skills point out that right-wing blog articles about cranks who write articles on other right-wing blogs aren't scientific sources, so much the better. Icing on the cake. Still, if denialists would just go away after being embarrassed as thoroughly as happens here, that'd be fine too.

But changing denialists' minds is not the goal.

Let name 3 people who have become mutli-millionairs because of the debate surrounding Climate Change.
1. Al Gore. he started with millions from his daddy but his CAGW stuff has gotten him into the 200M plus club
2. Jim Hansen. a government employee is not a multi-millionaire and the money has come from Greeniacs in the form of speaking fees.
3. Michael Mann... see Jim Hansen.

This list is growing.

On the other side? not so much...
Now Ferd there you go again. Are you denying that the repub's have not raked in major big bucks to deny this?

and there you go again. do you deny that google has given a great deal of money to politicians of both sides... including MORE money to democrats?

This is so easy. all you have to do is add up all the money that all the businesses have given politicians that vote agasint what you dont like, then make the claim the Prog Moyer made and poof, being X means big money.

the fact you are peddling this speaks to your lack of ethics.
