Absolutely false! Obama gives credit to the team and only says that he gave authorization for them to get Bin Laden. Either learn the facts or quit lying.

Good grief!

Because of the work done by Bush, Iraq was in such great shape in 2011, that 0bama and Biden were back slapping each other calling it 0bama's greatest accomplishment, and then 0bama, "underestimating the difficulty of stabilizing IRAQ" pulled out all the troops, not leaving anyone behind, and well.... here we are.

Has anyone else noticed that Obamas press secretary is already attempting to walk back his interview with the old "what he meant was" routine.

Perhaps people should just not believe whatever Obama says until his handlers tell us what he really meant.

Was just watching CNN of all places this afternoon and they produced several news clips of several intelligence officials warning of the very thing Obama claims they did not warn him of and warning him several months ago and even as much as a year ago.

Does this surprise anyone? He needs public opinion on his side at least a little bit. We're tired of war and him saying 'no boots on the ground' satisfied many of us. Slowly, as the media unravels more and more info on them, he can justify doing what this country has been doing for over a decade: war.

And it saddens me. We underestimated ISIS? We created them! And I say we because we're all responsible. We sit back and let our government do this kind of stuff and I'm tired of everyone pegging the blame on the other party. Grow up and recognize that this isn't the fault of an individual party. Bush did the same thing with a different group, who of course was ideologically the same. And look how that turned out. We're heading right back over and anyone who is capable of connecting the dots should be able to predict the outcome of our war with ISIS. We'll beat 'em into the ground, leave, and in a few months, some other group will emerge and they'll be no different that the last group and the process continues again.

I saw similar clips, and possibly some of the same ones. He was told and brushed them off.

No kidding!! What a worthless president this man is.

This testimony was given in February 2014 before the Senate Armed Services Committee, by the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Mike Flynn told lawmakers ISIS was looking to gain ground.

"Al Qaeda in Iraq/ISIL probably will attempt to take territory in Iraq and Syria to exhibit its strength in 2014, as demonstrated recently in Ramadi and Fallujah, and the group's ability to concurrently maintain multiple safe havens in Syria."

These terror groups had exploited the permissive security environment to increase its operations and presence in many locations and also has expanded into Syria and Lebanon to inflame tensions throughout the region."

0bama is a freaking liar, disrespectfully blaming others for his failures.

Obama messed up Big Time in his 60 Minutes Interview on Sunday. He is well know for "pointing the finger of blame" at any/everybody .... but there is just so much these guys will take. I'm not a fan of former 4 Star General James Clapper, but I do know that he was kept almost totally in the dark by former Top Security Advisor to the President, John Brennan (now Director of the CIA) and probably still in the dark with Susan Rice and Obama inner circle kiddos taking the lead on everything. Clapper is a FALL GUY and he has probably worked that out by now.

Why Obama Can’t Say His Spies Underestimated ISIS
On 60 Minutes, the president faulted his spies for failing to predict the rise of ISIS. There’s one problem with that statement: The intelligence analysts did warn about the group. The Daily Beast

The former US Ambassador to Syria (Robert Ford -Obama appointment) QUIT earlier this year and said why - Team Obama won't listen to him and ignore the situation in Syria.

Frederic Hof, the former State Department special adviser on Syria now with the Rafik Hariri Center in Washington, who argued for greater support for the rebels but later resigned in the face of White House opposition to the policy, said the intelligence community was not to blame.

The Director of Military Intelligence (Michael Flynn) was just forced out by Team Obama, for the same reason - that was a couple of months ago.
Michael Flynn Testimony to US Senate Armed Services Committee (pdf file) - 2/11/14

Assistant Secretary of State Brett McGurk told the same story to the House Foreign Affairs Committee the same story in November of 2013.

'It's pretty well-known that the president hasn’t taken in-person intelligence briefings with any regularity since the early days of 2009,' the aide said. 'He gets them in writing.'
'And it's well-understood why. No one sits and watches him read them, and no one can come back later and tell Congress in a closed session that "I told the president this specific thing was likely to happen".' UK Press

President Barack Obama's intelligence briefings have provided him with specific information since before he won re-election in 2012 about the growing threat of the terror group now known alternatively as ISIS and ISIL, an administration insider told MailOnline on Monday.
'Unless someone very senior has been shredding the president's daily briefings and telling him that the dog ate them, highly accurate predictions about ISIL have been showing up in the Oval Office since before the 2012 election,' said a national security staffer in the Obama administration who is familiar with the content of intelligence briefings.

There is an absolute limit to what these high level experts will take from the totally incompetent and 24/7/365 Administration that puts their Personal Politics above every issue -- we are now talking serious National Security, they have spent over 6 years with the Blame BushHitlerCheney ...... but their own experts are NOT going to take the Fall for his incompetence. The ONE person who has not chimed in is the Head of the CIA - John Brennan. Brennan has been with Obama since the beginning. He was the Drone Master and Head personal security advisor to Obama for his first term. He wanted the CIA top job (and was Obama's choice) but the Leftist Base would not consider him - so Team Obama gave the job to Panetta and Brennan became the Top Security Advisor to Obama.
He is the one that exposed Seal Team 6 to the world after the raid on Bin Laden, he took over after Petraeus was forced to resign, he and Obama shuffled the "Kill Cards" and decide who to Drone that week. Brennan totally missed the Undie Bomber AND that was after the Saudis came to him personally to warn him. Some might remember that Obama hid out for 5 days in Hawaii until he was forced to acknowledge the Terrorist attempt over Detroit ..... of course we didn't call it a Terrorist action, it was one of those new "Man made incidents'.

As to the OP...No, Obama OVERESTIMATED ISIS and continues to do so.

Besides the second Iraq War, can you name one Obama hasn't liked?
