Im just talking about something similar to Passion of the Christ. A story of Mohammad based on historical sources. Will that ever be produced?

If it were, I doubt any rendition would be flattering enough. To start with, depicting Mohammed in any form is a sin under islamic law. So that in itself is a nonstarter.

Muslims make up less than 2% of Americans, besides the religious and anti-Muslim zealots, I doubt few would be interested in seeing the movie. The top movies in America are about men who wear capes and dangle from ceilings.

It would be a good chance for cultural exchange isn't that something liberals profess to support?

But what about the rest of the world ? Can't just limit this to the US anymore.

Exactly. Who bank-rolled Passion of the Christ, again? That's right, a Christian. So, no Muslim - however wealthy they might be - would ever bank-roll such a movie, because it would be a violation of his/her faith.

Who does the OP suspect would fund this movie and why? Sounds like a lose/lose business prospect to me.

Can you imagine if Hollywood ever did something like Martin Scorsese did against Christians?

For all the liberal hate of Christianity, even liberals must by now be able to see some difference.

There would be no audience for such a movie.

No, and the only reason is the fact that no one is interested enough to pay to watch such movie.
