Israel joins a large list of countries that ban any Government or municipality from mass-medicating the public with flouride. In fact only 5% of the World's population drinks fluorided water; Only 3% of Western Europeans do, yet 67% (194,206,000) of Americans.

Israel Joins Most of the World In Banning Water Fluoridation Washington's Blog

It is not for strong teeth and trends in tooth decay began declining world-wide before fluoride was ever mass-medicated to the public in this country.

People that have researched the dangers of fluoride know all too well that it is nearly impossible to avoid when it is in the public water supply. It is not natural flouride either-it is industrial waste from the processing of aluminum. It is essentually a tax-payer funded industrial waste disposal program for nationless corporations. We are knowingly putting neurotoxins into our bodies which Harvard has proven is causing cognitive disorders.

If you want to take fluoride supplements, that should be between the patient and their Doctor but to mass-medicate the public with a known neurotoxin is wrong and harmful to society at large.

I know many are essentially programmed to attack anyone that speaks out against fluoride and people are derided as being conspiracy kooks whenever the topic is brought up but these are my beliefs and fortunately I have a reverse osmosis system for the water in my house, but most people are not so fortunate.

So what? Why do we care about Israel banning water fluoridation?

Because I think it is a great thing-they used to require fluoridation since 1970 like The USA but have now banned it, like most of the civilized World. Americans are very ignorant when it comes to the topic of water fluoridation, so any conversation on the matter helps to spread awareness.

Portland, Oregon banned the practice of mass-medicating the public with fluoride last year, so it is a relevant topic.

Yep, another one of those freedoms we have... Free to be forced to use fluoride in tap water or live like "free" savages that have to draw their water from miles away.

Yes some counties actually mention the source, but very few. Interesting that Pinellas county FL had voted to remove it, but managed to make it a political issue about a year later and get it back in. The commission for the county, which looks to be about 7 people have the say-so. The waste cannot just be dumped.

Tampabay: Pinellas joins the flow, adds fluoride

"Why on earth would we want to put this in people's drinking water?" asked Todd, who spoke on behalf of several audience members who protested the concept earlier this month. "I believe we have a responsibility to the citizens . . . to provide a safe drinking water supply.

Fluoride returns to Pinellas County's water | Tampa Bay Times
quote:
Robert Powell, the county's water director, said he spent about $130,000 to buy fluoride from Dupont and another $30,000 on operational costs. The county also spent about $25,000 to replace the computer system at the Keller facility. Unused for over a year, the equipment that records incoming levels of natural fluoride had broken.

This guy apparently filed an amendment at the state level to force them to add it back.
Rouson wants Florida lawmakers to make Pinellas add fluoride ...

I wouldn't care, but Israel gets enough of our tax dollars that every american should have a say as to what goes on in their country.

Stop taking our money and they can do whatever please, like state funded abortions, water fluoridation, stealing the property of it neighbors, killing women and children...

http://www.fluoridealert.org/wp-cont...t_july2013.pdf - The court case

Quote:
Due to the cancellation of the Original Regulations and the fact that Regulation 20 of the New Regulations shall expire within a year, and since neither the Petitioners nor the Respondents have indicated another source of authorization for water fluorination, the Petition has been exhausted and is to be stricken
The brief was filed due to health effects. However, the law that contained the law requiring fluoridation was ending in a year anyways so the case was moot and dismissed.

Congrats on conspiracy theorists failing basic reading comprehension again.

Water fluoridation should not be required. If people don't want it, and they have good reason not to, they should under no circumstance be required to have it.

Too much fluoride can harm you. This is a fairly well known and scientifically accepted fact. For example, fluoride is in toothpaste and on the tube is says to call poison control is too much is swallowed. We can assume that wouldn't be advised if there was not a consequence to the consumption of fluoride. Honestly, most Americans have access to moderately decent dental care anyway. Adding a chemical to our water for that reason is bizarre and unnecessary.
