The Swiss would have been rolled over by the German Army, you seriously believe armed citizens could have stopped the Nazis from invading? It was a matter of convenience for the Germans to have a neutral country close by and it served them well when it came to using it as a backdoor to flee after they lost, not to mention hiding money. Read more history and try thinking more.

First of all this post belongs in the history forum, after all history buffs need a good laugh, too.
Second if you think that 4 million big Switzerland could stand up to 80 million big Germany than you're delusional. After all Germans did not have much problem overcoming combined allied forces of Belgium, Holland, France and the UK so why would tiny Switzerland be able to withstand German attack? After all, all able-bodied Dutch, Belgians, French and British had guns as they were drafted to the army. Yes, they all have guns, tanks and airplanes and still could not withstand the German attack. Your theory that armed citizenry could change the course of WWII is simply laughable.
Why Germany never attacked the Swiss? First of all because they needed neutral Switzerland for economic and political reasons. Second, because Switzerland is virtually devoid of natural resources. Nothing there to take.

There was a lot of noise that the preparedness of the Swiss military kept the bad guys away feeding into the sense of Swiss exceptionalism. In reality, it appears diplomacy was the primary factor.
The Swiss deferred to Germany from a military standpoint.
The Swiss made economic concessions with Germany.
The Swiss "washed" most of the seized gold, currency and art.
German supply trains routinely passed through the Swiss tunnels.
The Swiss ignored violations of air space.
The Swiss viewed the occasional bomb as accidental, given their proximity, and took no action.
The Swiss did not open their arms to Jewish refugees.
The Swiss were prepared to blow up their tunnels if attacked which would have been a serious inconvenience to Germany.
Hitler didn't have a beef with nor ethnic Germans to "liberate" in Switzerland.
There were plans to invade Switzerland (reference Operation Tannenbaum). The reason he didn't? The Swiss were their bankers. They could hide money there.

Maybe its a single once of C4 or a single grenade in supply plane or docked ship carry artillery rounds is sure to create some hell for them, or maybe killing General as he stands before his men with a well place mortar round. Maybe its wasting the time and allocation of 1000 men looking for someone that does not even exist.

Seems to me the OP completely forgot the well-armed French, who were completely unsuccessful in stopping the Nazi invasion.
He also forgot everything he learned in history class.
Please make the case as to why the millions of armed, trained, and willing citizens of Switzerland did not prove to be a reason why the Germans did not invade the nation during WW2.
It's called an ARMY.
Switzerland, contrary to popular mythology, is one of the most militarized places on Earth. There are bomb shelters everywhere, hidden missle batteries, and universal conscription for all males plus reserve duty.
The place is a fortress.
Hitler did not need them (yet) and considering Swiss/Reich relationship was profitable, why bother?
I would note that Hitler had no qualms about declaring war on a well-armed people protected by two oceans- America.
