Here's a side note. Michael Smerconish, former conservative radio talk show host, made keeping Mumia in prison his own personal cause. He got very close with officer Faulkner's widow and wrote a book about the case. Smerconish later swung to the left albeit for strictly mercenary reasons, much like Ed Schultz.
He never changed his stance on this case, however. I think its beyond idiocy to still believe in Mumia's innocence.
