If the rate remains constant, which Ii very much doubt it will.

This Ebola concern is overly alarmist. It's bad, sure, but really only if you live in a dirt-poor society with poor sanitation, medical care, and government authority. None of those are the case for the US.

Many countries already do check every page. They do that to look for suspicious travel activity.

Also, it is not that difficult.
1. The only ones who don't need a stamp are Liberians/Guineans/etc. But they do need to get a visa to travel to the USA. If you don't give out visas, then they can't travel to the USA.

2. Visitors nearly always get stamps. That is because if you don't give them an entry and exit stamp, then it looks like you are staying there illegally.

3. If they are staying in Liberia and are not from Europe, then they require a visa to enter US. If they apply from Liberia, then we know where they are applying from. If they want to apply from home, then they are no longer a security risk.

Hence, the risk of someone fooling the system is extremely small. But if you have no safety at all, then it will come more and more people infected with ebola to the US. Currently there are only 20K cases, what about when we have 1 million cases?
