How do you know the House will stay GOP controlled?

Gerrymandering. It won't be forever of course, but the next 10 years is a pretty safe bet.

I think it was because he did everything they wanted/told him to do, especially throughout his second term. Progressives usually joke and say Bill Clinton was the best Republican the nation ever had. I think Don Debar said this once.

And if you do understand it, then why push her through to the nomination?

Are liberals and Democrats really this ignorant?
Because we don't suffer the psychotic delusion that we'd be better off with a GOP controlled house and White House would be one very good reason.

If Republicans are really so troubled by your senseless obstructionism that does nothing for the country the solution is simple: Vote Democrat!

God help us if Congress is Republican and a Republican is elected president in 2016. IMO, it would be a repeat of the 2000 to 2006 disaster of a government also administered by Republicans.

I'm not a Hillary Clinton fan, but I would vote for her if that meant a split government.

I agree.

A split government is the only way to keep all of these morons in check.

There's no guarantee -- due to her health issues -- that Hillary is even going to run. She looks really, really tired in those pics of her with her grandkid. Yes, she's dying to use that tot as a prop, but I don't think she's got the endurance to campaign 24x7 without dropping dead at some point.

Though I find her to be an ethically bankrupt, amoral human being, I certainly wouldn't wish that on her.

Things can happen IN SPITE of other things, right?

I stand by my opinion. The period consisted of one of the worst sessions of Congress.

Nice to see a good mix of parties here. : O )

Executive orders have become a problem (on both sides of the aisle) when the President can't get what he/maybe she wants. So I'm sure whoever is in office will use them to usurp the way the 3 branches were designed to interact.

But overall, I believe it probably is best to not have one party control the Senate, the House, and the Executive branch. I for one would actually prefer a system that included more than just two parties.

cd : O )
