LOL,

By your logic, i could live in a house for 8 years and burn it down on the day i move out and be a great home owner compared to the guy who decides to rebuild it brick by brick.

President Bush's job rate was 4.2 % when he took office, it was 7.9/8.1 when he left.

He basically doubled it.

When President Obama took office it was 7.9/8.1 and went down to 5.9

And if you argue "Real unemployment" it as 15.2 down to 11.8 now.

Either way, your argument is flawed.

He was :rebuffed by House Democrats ?

You mean the House that Republicans controlled for the first 6 Years of President Bush's administration ?

every Democrat in Congress could have voted against president Bush's wishes and he would have still been able to win a House vote on his own parties strength.

Bush warned congress for years before Pelosi and Reid got the keys to the candy store.

Did you totally forget how Government works.
This is why GWB was responsible for the great recession:

I agree with you that we need to increase minimum wage.

I am thinking it should be about 15$/hr. What are you thinking?

I was thinking maybe $50 an hour. This way I could go to the grocery market and by a $25 bag of chips.

If participation rates are to climb, the government has to reconfigure welfare to be a hand up and not a hand out. We are breeding a "what can you do for me" nation of takers, rather than a "what can I do for myself" pool of doers.

...and this ^^^^^^^^^^^
Participation rates are really low in the southern right to work states.
