Yes, there is a shadow government and I suspect the Fed runs the show, with CIA as a big influence.

When it is the media that pushes the politicians to the front, not really the low information voter marketed attack ads on TV(*cough, Mitt Romney), there really is influence, but in a much different place that you are citing.

Corporations don't vote. They are able to support their best interests. Would you invest in ruining your business?
If you voted in 4 states, you are a Democrat!

Corporations don't have to vote. They can buy elections. Over 90% of elections go to the candidate with the most funding. Knowing that fact, my corporation can stick their tentacles into any political race I want.

Kind of how the Koch brothers killed the BRA in Nashville.

Did they have to vote in Tennessee to do that?

Nashville is out of a mass transit system to serve Koch Industries profit line. Brought to you in part by the disastrous Citizens United ruling!

I do not trust government at ANY level; HOA, town/city, county/parish, state, OR Federal.
They ALL have proven, time and again, that the old statement about power corrupting is absolutely TRUE!
