An Indiana state trooper pulled over a motorist, gave her a warning ticket for an alleged traffic infraction, questioned her on her Christianity and handed out a religious flyer.

Bogan, who lives in Huntington, said Hamilton asked her about her faith multiple times during the traffic stop. Because he was a trooper and his police car was still parked behind hers, she said she felt she could not leave or refuse questioning.

"The whole time, his lights were on," Bogan said. "I had no reason to believe I could just pull away at that point, even though I had my warning." "I'm not affiliated with any church. I don't go to church," "I felt compelled to say I did, just because I had a state trooper standing at the passenger-side window. It was just weird." Bogan and the ACLU have filed a lawsuit.

Of course the executive director of the American Family Association of Indiana has no problem with this and sees it as no different than a Mormon knocking on your door.

Seriously, what do state troopers do besides raise revenue by catching speeders? Do they fight any actual crime? If this guy has the spare time to berate a motorist over her religious views, then he's obviously bored and needs some work to do.

In a society where EVERYTHING has become so ideologically driven. Science, Politics, and even Atheism have moved well into the religion category.

I wonder what would have happened if he was a Muslim and did the same thing. Silence maybe?

It's becoming painfully obvious that anything "Christian" is reviled by much of the progressive left. A day doesn't go by that several posts chastising Christians isn't posted. While at the same time claims that Christians are NOT being persecuted, in a belittling fashion, are touted as well.

It's becoming quite the sad comedy.
