a plant that grows in nature, which has yet to kill anyone, and can be consumed in it's natural state without being processed or chemically treated in anyway should not be illegal. In addition, when said plant has been medically proven OVER AND OVER to help cancer patients and other ill individuals, more so than taking poison and chemicals from pharmaceuticals, it should be readily available, to everyone.
since the dawn of time, man has looked for ways to alter the mind. it's not going to stop, ever.
Tell that to the fool who took a swan dive off of a balcony after eating a "harmless" substance.
it's not. not when cannabis has been proven over and over by medical professionals all over the world that cannabis helps cancer patients and many other patients with serious illnesses. please. it's so not the same thing, at all. it's not the same thing when people derive enjoyment from cannabis, but no one considers ingesting castor seeds.
you're not making the point you think you're making.
you know someone is fresh out of ideas when they stop making sense. there is no proof whatsoever that smoking cannabis leads to death. in fact, the opposite is true in that it has many benefits for terminally ill people.
there is proof beyond any argument that countless LEGAL substances DO actually lead to death. (watch any pharmaceutical ad for the disclaimers on cause of death), and that's just one category of 100's. Heck, ingesting bleach will kill you too.
Good luck depending on me and others to take care of your dope addled drooling self in your later years.
From eating cannabis seeds? LOL, I'm sure you have several caretakers and guardians to help you get through the day already.
