OK, what policies that exist actually cause these problems and give facts and not speculation. You didn't answer my question though, are you sure the rich didn't lobby for the laws to get passed or not get passed? Up until Obamacare, there was always talks of healthcare reform and it would never happen.

It didn't happen before because like Pelosi, Hillary took it behind closed doors for the lobbyists to get hold of it and people responded negatively just like in 2010.

Walmart and other companies have just shifted the cost of health care from their books to those of the taxpayer. People kicked off with go on Medicaid or on "free" care in the ER. The fix to this is, of course, universal tax supported health care where employers (business) will be required to pay a percentage of the costs.

So what about before, did lobbyists go in and try to change the healthcare bills or just crush them or get them stuck in committee hell?

Yep, shifting the cost from the rich to the middle class. But Obama spoke and the bots believed every word. Probably the same people who believed the banks. Thanks Bots!

You just can't do it can you? Complain about the rich but you just can't condemn the reasons because of who is in power while it's being done.

If I sell a widget for $10 and you add a $1 tax, I'm now going to sell that widget for $11.

Corporate taxes are passed on to the consumer. Raising taxes on corporations, for all practical purposes, raising the cost of goods to you. You pay those corporate taxes.

Go off and see what qualifies for medicaid. They wouldn't have had Walmart insurance if they qualified for medicaid.

Then go off and read about Obamacare subsidies. It's a tax credit against their next year's income.

Then come back and comment.

Forget a tax supported universal plan. You wanted Obamacare and that is what you have.
You can certainly move to Vermont who plans to do that in 2017.
Be prepared for an additional 8-9% being taken from your paycheck as well as a new state tax.
