We touched on the rather strange goings on in New York’s 21 congressional district race last weekend, but the fascinating candidate put up by the Democrats just keeps bringing me back to the well. Millionaire filmmaker Aaron Woolf met up with his opponent, Republican small businesswoman Elise Stefanik for a debate this week. In the midst of the action, he suddenly popped up with an observation which left everyone scratching their heads.
“I don’t know if you have ever worked manually for a living like I have and I’m certain that [Green Party candidate Matt Funiciello] probably has-I don’t know if you can say something to a 49-year-old who’s working with their body-with their hands-it’s very different thing than sitting behind a desk and operating a computer.”

Long sigh. The Democrat war on women they disagree with rages on. This is wrong on so many levels.

As usual the fake outrage from the rightwingers is hard at work...I read it and do not see where he accused anyone of anything....sounded more like a question to me.

Of course you don't see anything wrong with it. A Democrat said it.

I think if you go through my post history you will discover I hate both extreme wings equally and its for just what you started this thread about..fake indignation...I can look at other's thread starts and posts and see blindly following an R or D ..not going to mention any names, but ^^

So...have YOU ever worked a manual job? See the question mark at the end of the sentence?

I'm a Republican and don't see anything wrong with it either. How is it a war on women to say that one individual woman hasn't worked with her hands?

When you imply a protected minority did or didn't do something you imply every member of that protected minority class did or didn't do something.

I am a female that has done nothing but work with my hands.

Working behind a desk is hard too......IMO....dealing with people is MUCH harder than drilling a 400 foot hole in the ground.

I wonder how much "manual labor" obama did in his younger years? How about Pelosi?
Or, for that matter, ANY of those dingbats that have been feeding at the public trough since they got out of college, regardless of party?

By the way, for those who don't know much about actual work, "Manuel LaBor" is NOT a Mexican illegal immigrant!

I wonder how much manual labor ANY politician has ever done.
